Companies, combining Litagra Group are often jointly referred to as Litagra. Litagra is a dynamic and steady developing group of companies which share common ideas, common equity and the principles of management. 1991 beginning of activities 1993 establishment of UAB Litagra. The Company focused on the sales of plant protection products and pharmaceuticals. 1995 acquisition of UAB Vilniaus Žemės Ūkio Chemija, which main activity was warehousing. In 1996 it was decided to separate trade in agricultural chemicals from trade in pharmaceuticals. For this purpose UAB Litagros Chemija was established. In 1998 the decision was taken to further develop the activities of the Group by investing to production of animal feeds. This year the Group acquired two comp In 1999 UAB “Litagros” mažmena was established. The company was engaged in trade in veterinary products and animal feed. This business was earlier part of UAB Litagros Chemija activities. In 2000 UAB Litagros Farmacija was established. Starting from the beginning of 2001 the company took over pharmacy activities of UAB Litagra. The same year the bankruptcy of AB Joniškio Grūdai was iniciated by Litagra group and Litagra became the main rehabilitator. In 2001 Litagra acquired UAB Sidabra and Kelmės Akcinė Linų Apdirbimo Bendrovė (Kelmė Flax Co.). In 2002 UAB Litagra and UAB Litagros Ma.mena got the Quality Certificate ISO 9001:2000. In the same year the Group acquired AB “Marijampolės grūdai”, the company “Litagros Farmacija” changed its name to “Promofarma” and changed its mode of activities to provision of pharmaceutical products marketing services. In 2003 Litagra established two public establishments “Foundation for the Development of Nature Protection Projects” and “Foundation for the Development of Agricultural Sciences”. In 2003 Litagra established a subsidiary in Latvia “Litagra SIA”, which started its activity in sales of plant protection products. In 2004 it stared to sale in the Latvian market animal feed and fodder products, raw materials. In 2008 the company became branch “LITAGRA LATVIJA” of UAB “LITAGROS PREKYBA” In 2004 Litagra exited from pharmacy activities. The subsidiary UAB Litagros Grūdai was established. The company took over the grain trade from UAB “Litagra”. In 2005 the trade activity of UAB “Litagros” mažmena was transferred to UAB Litagros Chemija. In May the equity fund “Amber Trust II S.C.A.” has acquired up to 28 % shares of UAB “Litagros chemija”. Investments were supposed to be used for the development of the business activity of UAB “Litagros chemija”. The trend of the company's activity remained the same. In August 2006 the subsidiary company OÜ Litagra in Estonia was established. The core activity of the company is services for agricultural sector. In October 2006 the rehabilitation process of AB Joniškio Grūdai was successfully ended. In December 2007 Litagra acquired AB "Kėdainių Grūdai" and agricultural company “Baušai”. In November 2007 the subsidiary companies Litagra Sp.z o.o.in Poland and AB "Litagra" in Sweden were established. Since January 2008 UAB "Litagros prekyba" renders services to the agriculture (sales of farm-inputs). Due to the organizational changes within the Group the company name UAB "Litagros chemija" has been changed to UAB "LITAGRA" in April 2008. In August 2008 Litagra acquired the agricultural company "Beržai" (Kėdainiai district). In 2008 Litagra Group is a member of following organizations:
